Special Cards For Special People
Happy Sunday to you all. I have not been able to post anything lately, I have been
very busy with my daughters graduation prep. Wow what a whirl wind that was. I did
slip in a little time to make the card down below. I saw this card on pintrest and thought
it would make a good challenge for me to try to make it. I needed a card
to send to my boss who just resigned from our company. It will be sad to
see her leave.
I used CTMH card stock and
stamp sets to recreate this card. I will give more details down below. I sewed around
each layer individually so that there wouldn't be any stitching inside the card
and then wet the edges slightly so that I could roll them with out tearing the paper
too much. Then when it dried, I ink the edges with the chocolate in pad. I wish
I could remember the lady's name that created the original card, because she did
an amazing job.
Supplies:
Juniper Card Stock

I found the cutest cards to cut out on your Cricut or other cutting machines
over at Treasureboxdesigns.com
These were a lot of fun to make and sooo clever. You need to really go and check all
the cute cut files they have over there. I believe they are even having a 50% sale on
their files. Below I posted the ones that I made. I put my own little twist on them so
they may not look exactly like the ones they are showing. So again go check them
out you will fall in love with their site.
This one was for my niece for graduations so I added a cap and tassel. |
This is the card opened up. I placed a caption on the chalk board, added a sticker on the left side, and had to add glitter on the hat and glasses. |
This was card I made for my father in law who was in the hoptl. When I saw this card on their site, I just had to have it. |
This is what the card looks like inside. |
